Chur
Sweet 4 Year Silver Spotted Girl
Hi, my name is Chur! I am a four-year old silver spotted Bengal girl. I’m named after a character from a science fiction novel, in case you’re wondering about my name. I am a big, playful kitty, who used to live with my mommy and two older kitties. Things were great, until first one, and then the other, of my kitty friends passed away. Then my poor mommy got very sick and passed away, too! I’m staying in a foster home for now, but I would really love to find a home of my own, where I can be part of a loving family again. I’ve been spayed and micro-chipped, plus I’m up to date on my vaccinations. If you would love to be my new family, please contact CA Bengal Rescue about adopting me!”

Rudi
Sweet 2 Year Old Boy
Rudi is a gorgeous 14lb brown rosetted, neutered Bengal boy. He will be 2 years old in August.

He is a loving and devoted cat, and getting more talkative as he gets older. He was the first cat in the house before we rescued an 8 m/o kitten. They have bonded--they love to play together and snuggle together. Rudi has been an excellent big brother.

Rudi is a great jumper--easily jumps 6 feet, and very sure on his feet. He loves cat chaser toys and catnip filled toys. He is also a foodie. He prefers his chunk-style wet food and goes crazy when fresh, raw meat is pulled out of the fridge. Freeze dried salmon is another favorite. F or other fun, he loves to steal paint brushes and toothbrushes, opening drawers to achieve his goal! Got flies? Rudi will do his best to catch them for you!

While he doesn't necessarily like to be held for long periods of time, he is a great lap cat and will do his best to steal your warm seat when you get up. He will share. Often times he will sit behind me on my work chair. Every morning, without fail, he comes to snuggle right around sunrise with the hopes you will be tempted to get up and feed him.

Rudi currently lives with a 6 y/o boy. They get along just okay. I think Rudi would do better either with a more mellow child, or an older child. He has not been around dogs, so I don't know how he would do with a dog in the house. Rudi may be fine with one other cat, depending on the personality. He is being rehomed due to having developed litter box issues cause of multiple cats in the household.

Nova
Sweet 4 Year Old Affectionate Girl
Nova is a sweet, spayed, four year old affectionate female cat, who might be OK, after a slow introduction, with a male cat. She will not do well in a situation where there is a dog. She is a cuddler and will love to cuddle up with her new person after she gets to know him/her (and maybe on the first meeting!).

She loves to play. Stressful environments are not her friend. She plays well, she will climb onto your back and knead without her claws....she wants to cuddle and be close, but not want to be picked up. Some of her favorite toys are pole toys with feathers, a catnip mouse and balls to chase and pounce on. She would love it if you played with her for a long time before bedtime, as this will help her sleep.

If you must leave her alone, make sure she has her special blanket and a cuddle cup bed or similar kitty bed.

She is litter box trained but will does have issues with her food if she is not fed the proper diet. She needs extra attention in this regard, as anything stressful or upsetting to her will cause her tummy to be a bit upset. (she has IBD) Her diet is easy to obtain and should not present any problems; she does, however, have a penchant for EVO 95% duck in the can. She is eating dry IAMS for kittens to help put the weight back on, and the Fancy Feast grilled chicken. Make sure she has a lot of water to drink; she seems to enjoy playing in the bath tub and will make every occasion to visit the bathroom and see if the water is running, so make sure the toilet lid is down at **all** times when not in use to avoid accidents.

Nova is about four years old but acts very much like a kitten. She is clear of all parasites and the only health issue of note seems to be IBD - but again, this is usually brought on by stressful situations, most especially other cats in the environment. She needs to be Queen Cat of her home.

Provide her with catnip and she becomes a bit rowdy, then calms down and relaxes, purring happily. She loves having a scratching post and a cat tree, so make sure she has her own furniture when you adopt her.

If you are interested in adopting Nova, please contact Marilyn by e-mail: marilynk1@sbcglobal.net

Luna & Star
Bonded Pair of Girls
These two babies need to be rehomed together. They are very tightly bonded to each other. Luna, a 6 year old 8th Generation Bengal spayed female is friendly and rambunctious with loads of personality. She is vocal and loves attention and will demand it. She does not like to play in water and sometimes loses her balance. Because she was deprived of oxygen at birth she is considered special needs but this has only affected her balance as she has matured. She also is on a special diets since high protein diets give her the runs. Luna is beautiful, with lovely rossettes. She is deeply bonded to her "sibling", Star. Star, a 5 ½ year old black cat was taken from a Feral litter at 5 weeks of age. She is a shy cat with only a few white hairs on her chest. Once she becomes accustomed to her new surroundings and people, she is an outgoing and friendly lap cat. Luna helped to raise Star from a young age and they are deeply bonded. Both cats get along with people and children, though Star can be skittish around them. They have never been exposed to dogs but they are ok with adult rabbits. Both use the litter box well, however, if it is not cleaned often enough then they will not use it.

If you are interested in Luna and Star, please contact Marilyn by e-mail: marilynk1@sbcglobal.net

The Three Mus"cat"eers!
A Bonded Treo of Bengals
Hi, We are the Three Mus"cat"eers, Snowy River, Talon, and Betty Davis Eyes.

I’m Snowy and I'm the leader of the group. I’m a seven year old seal lynxpoint male neutered Bengal. I was initially placed as a 50th anniversary present for my breeder’s mother. My new adopted mom had serious health problems so I had to be declawed. I used to help her solve crossword puzzles for hours and soothe her when she was in pain. Mom died six years ago and I’ve lived with my breeder and her huge group of cats until recently, when I transferred to Leopard Print.

During those years with my breeder, I bonded with another seven year old brown spotted male Bengal named Talon. Talon had lived all his life with our breeder. On our way up to Northern California we met and fell in love with Betty.

Betty is a five year old female spayed brown spotted Bengal. She was scarred out of her wits, the poor thing, so Talon and I put ourselves on either side of her in order to protect her when we arrived at our new home.

Our new foster dad was happy to place the three of us in a room together. Once we tested out healthy, dad let us out into the rest of the house to play with the other cats. Talon and I tolerate the other cats, but Betty cries for us to return to our bedroom. Dad always puts us together at night. We’d like to be placed together in a forever home. Talon and I like attention, but it will take another month or so for Betty to come around.

Please adopt us! We’ll make a great family together!

Kajal and Teonna: the Dynamic Duo!
Need to be Rehomed Together
Hi, we’re the “Dynamic Duo”. I’m Kajal, an 11 year old brown spotted male neutered Bengal, and to my right is my partner, Teonna. She's a 7 year old brown spotted spayed female Bengal.

We are a little shy at first but we love people (especially people that play with us) and we love to play with toys, but most of all we love each other. We would like to be placed together. We are in good health and we have many years left to love a person or a family that adopts us. Can we be a part of your family?

Please adopt us! We’ll make a great family together!

Beautiful Mumbai
Seven Year Old Neutered Boy
Hi, I’m Mumbai! Why I ended up at the shelter is a mystery to me. I hated the shelter with all its smells and noise; I didn’t fit in there.

When I arrived at Leopard Print, I had a horrible upper respiratory tract infection that wasn't getting better. The shelter had given up hope! But my new foster dad gave me premium food and suplements known to help the immune system fight off disease. Then he put me in a quiet, temperature controlled, stress-free place where I could convalese. It took three weeks but I finally got better!

Now I get to play with six other resident cats, some of which are permanent, and some are fosters. I’m looking for a forever home where I can live by myself or maybe with one other friendly cat. I’m very friendly with people and I get along okay with other cats so give me a try. You’ll glad that you did!

Ginger
Sweet 6-7 Year Old Girl
needs either a permanent home or a foster home
Ginger is a spayed 6-7 year old girl who unfortunately needs a new home because she became unhappy and stressed after other animals were adopted into her home.
She needs to be in a loving, nurturing home where there are no other animals or children.

Sheena
6 Year Old Gorgeous Snow Bengal
Sheena's mom recently past away and the house she was living in is now in foreclosure.

Sheena is a beautiful 6 year old spayed declawed Snow Bengal. And she knows she is beautiful. Her favorite activities are sleeping in a sunny spot and playing. Her current home has not one but two "catios", each with a cat pole and shelf for sunning. her favorite catio encloses a camelia bush, and small birds can get in. This provides her (much to her mistresses chagrin) with hunting opportunities and despite her lack of front claws, she is amazingly adept.
In the morning, Sheena used to love "hunting" her favorite catnip mouse and presenting it to her now deceased mistress in bed first thing in the morning. For Sheena, this is the best way to start the day: Bring a present and get a few minutes of attention before breakfast. She gives little kisses with her tongue while you pet her and will pat you with her soft paws to get your attention. She also has a game of running up behind you, swatting your backside, and running away (we think it is a form of tag).

Sheena does not have a love of other cats, though interestingly, she is friendly with her "cousin", a small white dog belonging to her mistresses sister. She is not too interested in small children either, preferring a quiet domestic life. She does not love being picked up (how undignified!), preferring love on her own terms. For the patient owner, she will soon be sitting on your lap and snuggling.

Here are a few of her favorite things:
Toy: Da Bird feather toy
Catnip: Yes, please!
Cat furniture: Tall cat poles and window shelves
Compliments: She likes to be told how nicely she has done her eye makeup - she is a vain kitty!

If you are interested in adopting Sheena, please contact Marilyn by e-mail: marilynk1@sbcglobal.net

Ringer
2-3 Year Old Spotted Boy
Ringer is currently with a foster mom who's specialty is socializing cats. Ringer is doing wonderful and is ready for a new, loving home. He needs to be rehomed with someone who is willing to spend the time helping him feel safe. I don't have an up to date picture of him to post, but his coat looks great and he doesn't look frightened anymore.

His foster mom has this to say: He is still and probably always will be a timid cat who does not like to be held. He is now coming out and spending time in the open when I or my son are around. Whoever adopts him should have a really friendly cat for him to bond with, though he will also be fine as an only cat.

If you are interested in Ringer, please contact Marilyn by e-mail: marilynk1@sbcglobal.net

Jenga, Sweet and Loving
Jenga is an 8 year old spayed girl who gets along with other cats and loves people. She was originally surrendered to us because one of the people she lived with doesn't like cats. She is a perfectly mannered young lady who loves to play.

I'll let Jenga's foster mom tell you more about her personality: Jenga is a perfectly serene cat. She is as soft as flour. She gets along well with my other 4 cats. She prefers to bond with one person; a woman/girl. She has chosen me in my home as she sleeps in my bedroom. She loves to play and has a routine she enjoys; each morning & evening for about 30 minutes she really wants to run & play 'chase' with me. She is the queen of the fabric ribbon stick and adores catnip! She has been used to only bonding with women but I think the right cat loving guy could turn her head!

If you are interested in Jenga, please contact Marilyn by e-mail: marilynk1@sbcglobal.net
